Nantes University Hospital (CHU de Nantes) is the 6th largest French University Hospital, among the top 10 University Hospitals recognised as “highly committed to research”. It is a centre of reference and excellence on an inter-regional and national scale in a number of key fields including: biotherapies, cardiology, dermatology, hematology, immunology, nuclear medicine, oncology, pediatric care, rare diseases and transplantation. The Nantes University Hospital has demonstrated capacity and expertise for fast translation of findings into the clinic: notably the conduct of clinical trials (including first-in-man studies), epidemiological studies and research project coordination. Key assets include a clinical research infrastructure available to investigators for carrying out their projects in clinical and health research, including dedicated platforms in cell and gene therapy, a biological resource centre and a dedicated data lake linked to the Ouest Data Hub: the largest clinical data network in France. The CHU de Nantes is member of the EiT Health initiative to foster innovation and development of technologies with european partners.
